Pilea Peperomioides
Discovered by a Norwegian missionary in Southern China - the missionary plant, Chinese money plant or pancake plant is one of our most sort after houseplants. This succulent's round leaves can grow to a diameter of 10cm and is one of the easiest plants to care for and propagate.
How to care for your Pilea Peperomioides
Pilea Peperomioides likes bright, indirect sunlight. Water from the bottom, using a saucer, once a week and mist every three days over the leaves. If the Pilea is planted in a pot with no drainage holes, simply mist more thoroughly once a week. If you want to propagate your Pilea, it’s simple. The Pilea loves to poke babies up out of the soil, so when they appear, cut each little plantlet with a sharp knife. You can either keep them in water for a bit or put them straight into soil.
Approximate current plant height including plastic pot: 25cm
