Hoya carnosa compacta

Hoya carnosa compacta

Hoya carnosa compacta, is a draping succulent vine that produces clusters of star shaped waxy flowers. The thick, twisted, curly, cupped leaves are often commonly called krinkle kurl.

This type of hoya plant is very easy to care for as long as you have plenty of light and are careful with your water.

How to care for your Hoya

Water from the bottom, using a saucer, once a fortnight, and mist every seven days over the leaves. If planted in a pot with no drainage holes, simply mist more thoroughly once a fortnight.

Plant comes in it's plastic terracotta pot, size 14cm and approximately the leaves hang down from the pot by 20cm.

This hoya grows best in very bright light. Southern exposure is best, but it can adapt to east or west locations in front of a window. In lows light, a Hoya carnosa compacta plant may never bloom.
